How cool and how frightening it is to start a new journey. Right? Life is a full chain of events and transitions, and some are harder than others. I remember my transition from living in South America and then living in Chicago. It was so different to everything that I knew. I thought, ok, I can do this for a few months, this is cool, this is new. I never thought that those "few months" were going to turn in the past 14 years.

When I moved here I needed to find my space and define an identity. I was a 24 year-old woman with an open direction, meaning, nothing was written in stone. My new beginning was not defined by a profession or by a family role ( even though I was still a daughter and a sister). I had freedom to explore.

At my 39 years, I am yet in another new beginning, one of self-discovery and learning to respect myself and my knowledge. Easy? pfff, of course not, on the very contrary, a very hard one. But I anticipate good results after a few bumps on the road. Como dice una amiga, animo y adelante!
