The Springness of Spring

I love walking around the city during the Spring. It is so nice and comforting to see the green in the parks and the little flowers showing their colors. It's like no matter what's going on inside your head, you still have the time to appreicate the beauty of living in the moment. Somehow, mother nature is showing you that with every death, comes a life. Spring, la primavera, is the time to celebrate life, the re-birth of the city and of one's soul. The Sun shines, the grass is green, the warmth of the earth is finally rising to touch your heart. La primevera es la epoca del renacer. One of my favorites spots in Chicago is Humboldt Park. I love the mornings and the contrast of light in different parts of the park. I love the little yellow flowers, the moms and their children walking around, feeling free. I forget about my mental worries whenever I pass by it.
